The challenge
Positions and sensor data from multiple devices needed to be collected and followed up. Vehicles and tools required a connected system of physical equipment, communications and digital reporting.
Our work
The work covered development of a tracking device and its software. Hardware and cloud-based tracking were connected as parts of one positioning and monitoring solution.
The solution
GPS and BLE were combined with sensor data, connectivity and reporting. Information from the devices could form part of a digital service for following vehicles and tools.
The outcome
The developed solution connected physical equipment and digital tracking. The assignment demonstrates how a tracking device and its software can support positioning, data collection and reporting together.
